Hi, this might not be the best sub to ask this but I’ve run out of idea where to ask.
I’m planning to install an 8mm shower glass panel and bought this [Breuer glass panel](https://www.hornbach.de/shop/Glaselement-Breuer-Panorama-Baukasten-Dekor-Klarglas-90-cm-3455005001004/10448785/artikel.html)
and [Metal frame to connect to wall](https://www.hornbach.de/shop/Einputzschiene-Breuer-Panorama-Baukasten/10448812/artikel.html?sourceArt=10448785&url=10448812&trackArticleCrossType=ma)
as suggested by Hornbach.
However, when checking the official Breuer website, it seems this metal frame might be incompatible with the glass panel.

and it’s mentioned there that it’s only compatible with certain type of montage.
Can someone help me to understand:
1. Will the glass panel and metal frame that I ordered will be compatible?
2. If not, what differentiate the glass between the other that it’s not compatible?
Again, I know this is not the best sub to ask for this question but I’ve run out of place to ask since Hornbach said it will be compatible and Breuer said not (their customer service) if some people who have knowledge on this can help me figure things out, it will be much appreciated.

What does this have to do with Germany? How about you ask Hornbach or Breuer?

Well it’s a Breuer product and their representative told you your plan is not going to work. There are really just two options: you can either return the items and get reimbursed as the manufacturer explicitly says that the two items are not compatible (which you can prove to the retailer through the manufacturer’s statement) or you could try to somehow install the pieces and hope for it to hold up to the retailer’s claim.
Depending on the price of those items I’d personally go for option one.
They might just say that to you because of the warranty. Probably best to get in contact with the rep again but most shower panels come with a profile to fix to the wall.
