1. Sounds like American “pull up by the boot straps” bullshit.

2. “journalists” need to be banned from twitter, that is a straight up misrepresentation of what Ryan was talking about.

3. Literally any technological shift would be a better example.

   One example might be how we went from almost all cars in 1986 being fueled by leaded petrol to it being entirely banned by 2005 (and cars using that fuel being virtually nonexistent by that point).
