These reports are getting rather alarming to read (just the titles alone). I ‘hope’ this is just a statistical fluke, but I suspect/expect not.
40C (104F)? We get that for weeks in my region. And have for years.
Although it did not used to be like that in my region. It used to be maybe 1-2 weeks in August. And even then, more like 102F at most.
Now? We see those temps in June. And higher, For weeks. And our humidity pushes it even higher.
I am still still shocked that Asia, long stereotyped as intolerably hot and humid, has always been cooler than my region.
