So this has just come out from a very reliable source. Probably Scamaccas injury played some part in this but if this doesn’t happen it has to be said this is a fail from Giuntoli. It was a choice between Calafiori and Koop and we left Calafiori go because management chose Koop and now got played by the club. In my opinion this is alright and even more beneficial as we can spend the 60 million on Gonzalez and Galeno as well as try to get a CAM for a cheaper price such as Smardazic. Motta might even want to play Douglas Luiz up there with Fagioli and Thuram as double pivot and could bring a back up cm for rotation… Opinions?

  1. I personally never believe a word that comes from Di Marzio, but that’s just me

Definitely would not give him the “most reliable” flair though

  2. It’s a possibility but I don’t think Atalanta will leave $50+ million on the table. They need the money to strengthen their squad. Forza Juve!

  3. His price just went up probably because of Scammacca injury

  4. I said this in my earlier post and got shat on for it. Giuntoli let calafiori go for him and failed to get him. In his first real mercato hes a failure and not promising. We should call maldini while we can and integrate him into the management team.

  5. di marzio said this in an article about nico gonzalez today:

“Juve has understood that Fiorentina is not willing to make an operation that includes compensation. Consequently, if the **Koopmeiners** dream does not come true , given that Atalanta does not seem willing to let him go, the Juventus club would be ready to invest the money they would have spent on Koopmeiners, precisely on Nico Gonzalez.”

He’s imagined a possible scenario that could happen and wrote an article about it, the twitter page you quoted took that article and transformed it into “atalanta doesn’t want to sell him”.

  6. Don’t Djallo and Alcaraz qualify as mishaps? Minor ones for sure but still mishaps?

  7. Lol can’t wait for this sub to call for his head and I’m looking forward to it. Something about giuntoli that rubs me the wrong way

  8. I can tell you that whoever translated this, didn’t do a good job 👍🏻

  9. lazar samardzic
would be not as expensive, is quality
only thing im unsure about is if he has already in the process of a transfer to another club, but officially he is sitll a udinese player

  10. Not sure how reliable this publication is: https://www.ilnapolista.it/2024/08/koopmeiners-dopo-linfortunio-di-scamacca-i-percassi-diranno-no-anche-a-una-maxi-cifra-corriere-bergamo/

    >The Dutchman himself, who ended up in the sights of Juve who were ready to make an offer of fifty million fixed part and five in bonuses , will be the fixed point around which to rebuild the Atalanta attack. His role as an all-rounder is fundamental without the contribution of Scamacca, and the Percassi will protect him even in the face of a huge sum. Unsellable, today even more than yesterday.

  11. Maybe we can keep Chiesa if we won’t buy big this summer… Sad to see that Soulé is at Roma

  12. I’m gonna get downvoted for that, but the success of giuntoli this calciomercaro will be measured if we get him or not. He was the target number 1. We apparently had the money for Douglas Luis but not for him at the same time? A bit weird. It’s not a big achievement getting rid of all the players. The big achievement is to properly replace the players and the list is long with players that have to leave. So if we don’t get him, and the alternative players doesn’t seem that promising, this Mercato is a failure, let’s not pretend that it is something different.
