Don’t get me wrong as impressive as this attack is, what exactly will this accomplish? Wouldn’t it have been better to send these troops to areas that need more manpower like Pokrovsk?

I hope this is going to be like the epic ukrainean counter attack with hmws capturing russian tanks by the dozens.
Anything that redirects units into Russian is a good thing. I don’t see them holding Russian territory, but this is a war. Wouldn’t be the first time the aggressor regretted their actions later.
