Shit has become ridiculous! We come here every year, we have family here. But the prices this year are spottieottiedopalicious insane. For a country whose GDP relies heavily on tourism, y’all are walking the plank. 😘

  16. I spent one whole average Croatian paycheck just to get from the airport and back in Norway. I don’t travel if I can’t afford it. There’s a lot of cheap places and a lot of expensive ones. A 0.5L bottle of water in Seychelles is 5$ you don’t see them apologize over it.

  32. I’ll tell you what I’ll do:

    – I’ll still have 3x croatian average salary as foreigner is paying me

    – Weaker economy without your money means prices going down – I’ll spend less

    – I will finally be able to walk through streets June-September

    – There will be less garbage, piss, vomit and shit

    Unfortunately its all a dream because no matter how prices are inflated there will always be bunch of first timers.

    OP, as you can see, every place you went to is packed. Not only are they packed, but records are broken each year. Would these places be this packed if the prices were too high? Would there be record high arrivals in spite of record high prices, if there weren’t people willing to pay?

    If these prices are a bit too hot for you, then, I’m sorry, but this product is not for you.

    You seem to think of yourself as extremely rich, and Croats as extremely poor, who need to fawn over you for your money. But there’s much, much more money in this world. I’m a Croat who lives abroad, and for me, Croatia is dirt cheap. And I’m only 6 years into my career, there are much more senior people than me, earning several times more, who come to Croatia each year. They never complain. And there are much more lucrative careers still. There are people who spend more in a single day than you’ve probably spent in Croatia in total since you’ve been coming here, or ever will.

    Keep your head down, OP, and your feet firmly planted on the ground.
