It was a fire speech. The vibe has definitely changed. We just gotta bring it home. Also the “sitting on the couch” line was chefs kiss.
Walz absolutely torched Vance. Everything that the democrats have done over the past 3 weeks has been perfect. Trump and the republicans are flailing. Can’t wait for the massive contrasts at the debates between Harris and Walz against their opponents. The energy of the rallies are through the roof and remind me of Sanders’ campaigns and dare I even say venturing towards Obama territory. It truly is a joyous campaign. I’m impressed.

Honestly I think the best aspect of Walz’s biography is that he’s a former football coach. It’s rare in politics and an unambiguous signal of normie masculinity, which is an area of discourse/identity Democrats have had no idea how to engage with since Trump came to power.
Walz was 10000% the best choice. Charming, humble, smart, and folksy. What a hell of a first appearance. Also shout out to Harris for speaking before Walz. Shows a real level of respect to her partner knowing this is his big debut. Trump would never even consider JD speaking after him.

I loved watching Kamala’s face during Tim’s speech. She was really enjoying it. She knows she hit a home run with this VP choice. They have GREAT chemistry!
I can’t believe I am saying this but Kamala Harris might actually pull it off.
I just never pictured America voting for a black woman for president. It just seemed so far fetched for a country so obsessed with race and gender.
Gotta say, Tim Walz may be a better orator than Harris. Dude just oozes down to earth folksy charm.

Walz is so perfect! Whatever will they be able to use against a gun owner veteran with two IVF kids who is funny, smart and likable? And you can easily see him as president if ever needed.

It is crazy that it has not been said often enough to those religious fanatics.
That was less campaign rally and more early acceptance celebration.
That was as perfect an introduction as you can expect in politics. They just absolutely nailed it.
This might be the strongest ticket of my life. And I’m in my 40s.
I got pretty emotional watching the rally. And you know, it felt really good.
I knew nothing of Walz before the rally today, but hearing about his story of him and wife using IVF to have their first child and naming her Hope brought a tear to my eye. I really hope that message reaches the right people and shows the importance of the reproductive freedom.
The whole *mind your own damn business* approach seems to really frame the issue in new way. And he got in a couch joke. Ketchup will splatter and eyeliner will run tonight.
