  1. Shapiro brought the house down. The guy can work a crowd like it’s nobody’s business.

  2. He ripped the paint off the walls with his speech. His future is so bright. Get him in front of people, and he will win it all one day.

  3. He’ll most likely be president one day. Democrats have a bright future 💪

  4. Shapiro knows that the reason he was not chosen was not some personal thing. He recognizes that Harris determined that Walz is the best man for the job. And more importantly, Shapiro knows that even if he thinks he would have been better suited for the job, the most important thing is to stop convicted felon Tweetle Dumb from being president again.

  5. Shapiro is already rising to the occasion hours after being left at the altar. Kudos to him crushing it tonight and for (accurately) singing Walz’s praises.

  6. I never understood the idea that Harris needed Shapiro on her ticket to win Pennsylvania. Whether he was picked or not, he should be working with her campaign to help win PA anyway. It seems like that’s exactly what he’s doing because the Dem Party is all on the same page now and not wasting time attacking each other like the Rep Party

  7. Shapiro is probably the best Dem orator around. I don’t know many that can deliver a speech like that.

  8. This democrat VP launch has ~~Jack~~ Jake Tapper who’s normally like -_- ……

screeching like a swiftie. I just watched it live on TV… am I just not digesting what I saw normally? It’s ok, just let me know wtf just happened.

  9. Shapiro is definitely the best orator, but Walz is the more likable and relatable candidate, which is what we need. He’s center-left, 2nd amendment strong (but strong on regulation), pro union, pro choice, and he’s also a pretty dang good speaker. She made a good choice going for Walz, and I support it.

  10. Oh now you all love him. Wasn’t he genocide Josh like yesterday? Some of those threads were pretty nasty ngl.

  11. Walz and Beshear were my favourites but I think that all of the candidates would have been very good VPs. I’m honestly a bit confused why people turned on him so hard recently, I’m glad that Walz got picked but I’m confident that Shapiro would’ve been an extremely strong candidate as well. I don’t understand why people were so afraid of Harris picking him instead of Walz.

  12. Holy moly… do we have an almost unanimous consensus that we are all in supporting our democrats now, with countless republicans in agreement as well?!

  13. This is actually the best of both worlds. Even without being the VP pick, Josh Shapiro is able to campaign hard for the Harris-Walz ticket and do everything he can to help them win Pennsylvania. At the same time, Walz being on the ticket will help boost turnout in other states closer to Minnesota like Michigan and Wisconsin. And Walz has just got good overall vibes.

  14. Honesty I would’ve been happy with him at the pick but he isn’t a full term governor yet. I think come 2028 he will be back in a big way with a lot more resume as Governor. If she picked him they could attack him for lack of experience as a governor or national politics. He definitely has a future

  15. Josh Shapiro is a better politician and a bigger man than the folks who campaigned most noisily against him. Looking forward to his future in the Party.

  16. You guys have been hating on this man for at least a week now. No one is here because you all of a sudden like him because he wasn’t picked.

  17. Josh’s speech was so good. The crowd was totally into it.

  18. It sound like Shapiro may have partially backed out because he didn’t want to leave PA just yet. He has some name recognition but he may have wanted to build it up so that he could run on his own in 2032 (or 2028 if things go horribly wrong).

  19. Amazing, the democratic party is working like a well-oiled machine. It’s like everyone understands how to work together rather than tear each other down so one can rise above the rest.

  20. Bright future ahead for Governor Shapiro. He will be instrumental in delivering PA for the Harris/Walz ticket.

  21. She did him a favor for 4 to 8 years from now….I saw his speech today and he is an electric speaker….perhaps the best since Obama. Should Harris have lost with Shapiro as running mate his career would be over… he’s the future of the party

  22. Democrats party members are all united. It is all about the party and the country.

Very opposite of MAGA. It is all about Donald Trump.

  23. I know some of Shapiro’s supporters are not ultra happy right now but damn that’s class.

I like this alternate reality where the Dems are in Array.

  24. This unapologetic unity I’m seeing in our party is so refreshing and exactly what this country needs.

  25. Tim Walz is an amazing VP pick, this guy has got tons of energy and he has a long history of doing great things. I wanted Kelly at first but after listening to Walz I am definitely glad she picked him. The hype is real.

  26. “motherfucker could lift a truck over his head i tell you hwhat”

  27. I’m sooo happy to live in PA, vote blue, and still have Shapiro as our governor. Let’s fucking go!

  28. His intro speech today was incredible. So good IMO, that it’s obvious he’s not a VP – he’s a POTUS candidate all the way. Just not his time yet.

Kamala made the right call with Coach Walz and now we have a loaded bench: Shapiro, Whitmer, etc. etc. for many years to come.
