We’re visiting England soon can you tell us where’s good to eat in Edinburgh?

  1. Not local, but I’d recommend Under the Stairs. Small business run by a really nice crew who like to experiment with food and serve something a little different.

Jaysus- need to start reading more carefully.

  2. I’ve definitely not seen this joke made on this sub before though.

  3. I wouldn’t advise eating in Edinburgh, they put a watery nippy brown stuff on the chips.

  4. I will be spending a morning in Glasgow next year.

What recommendations do you have for me to see in Troon, Ullapool, Inverness & Edinburgh that day and what bus should I get?

  5. I like to eat sitting down on the couch but I’ve heard people have had success sitting at a dinner table or even a park bench if you’re feeling gallus.

  6. I’m going to be moving to Scotland in two weeks! Where would be good place to live? I’d like to be in a city centre while also rural, with low crime and cheap property while I look for work.

Edit: Thanks, I’ll take a look at visas tomorrow!

  7. I’m standing on Princess Street right now, can someone point me where the Castle is? And do you live in it?
