General housing allowance will no longer be available for owner-occupied homes starting 1 January 2025

2. So since they’ll be saving money here, they’ll be lowering taxes now, right? Right? 🥲

3. It’s unfathomable why we ever even paid housing allowance for home owners. They are wealthy people by our standards and definitely don’t need goverment aid to pay for their homes.
