G20 Finance Ministers Call for Taxing the Ultra Wealthy

Only 3,000 people out of earth's 8,100,000,000 own over $14 trillion in assets, putting democracy and even states' sovereignty at risk. This is why G20 Finance Ministers just issued a declaration in Rio to tax the ultra-wealthy. They offer suggestions how this can be done, for example, through a 2% global minimum tax on billionaires, and closing tax avoidance loopholes, while recognizing not all countries agree on an international tax but asserting that the issue is now on leaders' agendas.
