  1. First you RTO, then you layoff, then you layoff some more, then you give execs a bonus, then you hire those roles back at 70% of the previous salary.

  2. Over 25,000 layoffs in week just between Dell and Intel.

    It’s reminiscent of the 2008 crash.

  3. Seems to be a lot of that going around… shareholders need their 20% return, I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. Mass layoffs are simply a tactic to legally practice age discrimination. Layoff large group of employees including those age protected or nearing that age. Then backfill with young replacement at lower salary. 

    No violation of labor laws by a layoff across multiple age groups. Hiring is a entirely separate process. 

  5. But the economy is doing great… Biden said so. Didn’t Dell get the memo?
