Let’s go, North Finchley! You’re all awesome. God bless you
Why did they have a flag of Afghanistan?
Let’s go North Finchley! Very proud of the old home town.
I mean I don’t agree with “no deportations, open borders” like that sign says, but I’m not the people who think that we are being overrun by “forrinurs” and turning into some weird country.
I do not agree with the far right loonies and their racist agenda. Bunch of thugs.
My old area.
By definition, anyone who arrives in a small boat is illegal
Honestly this year has made 2020 and 2022 look like the peaceful times of the late 90s
Good work London and all it’s environs. Immensely proud of who we are.
Being far right is harmful as it often promotes extremism as we have seen which undermines democratic values.
However, Western tolerance can paradoxically enable intolerant ideologies to gain influence and power. It’s crucial to balance open-mindedness with vigilance against those who seek to exploit it.
And as a centrist, I think the point is being missed as to why these far right people have ‘had enough’ and it’s a conversation worth having but with those that aren’t just moronic jobs worths.
Lovely work on that sign, impressive lettering.
Open the borders and no deportations is a wild policy platform, lunacy
I attended this. This was my old high street and my new place is near enough so I thought I’d stop by to see what’s happening. No anti-immigrant protesters were there even by 7:30pm so I walked home. The anti-racism protesters were huge in number and my bus was full of them – many seem to have travelled quite far to get there judging by their conversations.
From social media obviously some anti-migrant protesters did turn up later, but not many.
