And yet for that once in a lifetime Aurora event we had perfectly clear skies pretty much everywhere.
Ah well, look on the bright side:
those flood levels that were once-in-a-century will soon be annual.
Oh.
For the incredibly rare clouds, we get normal clouds beneath the rare ones.
At least the perseids are annual 🙂
Still haven’t seen them in 5 fucking years 🙁
Yep. I got so sick of seeing everyone’s beautiful aurora shots because the night I and a few friends from the local camera club went out to capture them, we got clouds. Meanwhile a friend of mine was down in Clare and got a stunning shot of them behind the Poulnabrone dolmen which he also lit up.
The next few days were difficult to get through without making a face.
