I had a Serbian girlfriend and I ve been to Beograd a couple of times and I love it, Serbian people are maybe the best in the Balkans for me, and yes I ve been to the Tesla museum and I was shocked with what I saw.
Most beautiful woman
Unorthodox brothers 💪 🦍
I like you much more than most of everyone else. You and the Armenians. I always cheer for Serbia (if Greece is not present) in sports for example, and I wish for good things to your country and your people.
Volim te brother/sister.
Ask Bouroussis
I hazard that Serbs feel closer to Greeks than Greeks to Serbs. I am happily married to one, every time we’ve in Serbia people instantly become very nice when they hear I’m Greek, even police/customs officers who have no reason to. A taxi driver once gave me a free ride when hearing I’m Greek.
War, basketball, smoking hot chicks and dudes that look like criminals
Great country
I think greeks and serbs have a lot in common. I’ve been to beograd only once so I don’t know the culture very well. From what I’ve heard, besides the religion, is that we also share some common balkan habits and in sports we cheer for each other. Since it’s a nice relationship between us I like it even though I don’t share those beliefs myself.
40+ people are generally too patriotic with you guys, the younger generation just views you as a friendly nation nothing more or less.
That picnic looks yum.
Orthodox Brothers
Love them, every interaction I’ve had has been awesome, even random people online when playing games.
Belgrade was amazing and the Greek embassy and Serbian police came in clutch when my buddy got pickpocketed and lost his ID.
Serbs are equally crazy as Greeks so respect.
We love Serbia
Serbians in general are amazing people, if it wasn’t for the Putin ass licking we would be great allies. Wouldn’t expect anything else after the NATO bombings though, so I understand. Hope Serbia will join EU and NATO in the distant future.
Ψάχνω μια Σέρβα να παντρευτώ εδώ και χρόνια.
We love your county and your people , but the government is sucking Putin’s dick and they are too hostile towards our country in many ways , so we don’t like your current government!!!
I’m not Orthodox or religious but I love you guys
I love most of our Balkan brothers a bit more than the rest of the world because we know what it’s like in our region, the preconceptions about us, our history and values.
I also really like Iranians, Armenians and Cypriots for the same reasons.
But Serbians I like a bit more. Why?
When I was 8 I saw the Kosovo war on tv and my dad went to Belgrade to protest the war and was standing in a soon to be bombarded bridge, hugged with Serbians and wearing a pin target on his chest
This has made feel forever close to the Serbian people.
Respect to the country that gave us Novac Djokovic
Same type of crazy as us, but more nationalistic.
Stunning women racist as fuck men.
any friend i had from serbia was great . and i miss them all 🙁
great people all of em
I live in NL. Half of my friends are Serbs (basketball united us). Also a couple of Croats. The cultures are very close though none of us is religious.
Different things
My whole family is Greek even though I was born in another country. It turns out the root of our last name is names after a Serbian village where my great great grandfather lived – my family fled to Serbia for one generation before coming back to Greece. No one knows why and no one remembers what our last name was before. My ancestor named us after the village with a monastery that took care of him as a boy. I guess my family will always have a soft spot for Serbia.
ignore them
Most Greeks’ attitude towards the Serbs very warm, especially up north. There is quite a lot of history between our people ranging from medieval times up to now and thus we share quite a lot of things (aside from religion). Given also our ties in recent times (Greece’s stance towards the NATO bombings/Kosovo) there is even more ties between both people.
Aside from that, Yugoslavians (in former times) and now Serbians/Montenegrins were a source of income for Greece either through commerce or tourism. Personally, the feeling I get from my Serbian colleagues (I work with a lot of them) is the one you would get from a second cousin or so. Same thing can be said from there side. Whenever they are in Greece they are treated really nicely and the same applies to us. I personally love Serbians.
I hope that recent political developments won’t spoil our friendship.
I was at Beograd couple months ago with my girlfriend and 2 friends and i can tell you that you have a beautiful city. I think that Beograd is the most beautiful city that i have traveled to in comparison to Sofia and Bucharest. City has a nice vibe. Novi sad also.
A grey part of our trip was people’s rudeness… Especially at cafe and restaurants. Lot of pressure to order even after 2 minutes at the table…
My friend was pushed multiple times at kiosks and not even a sorry was heard nor a gesture..
Of course i keep my memories of said trip clear of those grey spots because i did enjoy the city. 🙂
I like Serbs, we have a lot of commons, but we are also different at some aspects, for example when it comes to politics. I also disagree with the concept of “Orthodox brothers”.
Orthodox brothers
I have had many Serbian friends. I still call them Yugoslavian. Dont judge me. Love them all. Great people. With amazingly beautiful women.
Damn that water polo match yesterday was a cliffhanger.
Brothers, and not only on religion
Orthodox brothers must stick together.
That’s all.
Serbs are brothers, also i would love to visit serbia soon
serbians are orthodox brothers 🇷🇸🦾
Since the Serbians love us, I love them too. As for the country, I surely would want to visit it. I like the fact that you consider us brothers and I hope our good relations continue.😊
you beat us in polo by one goal so i hate you now
I married a Serbian woman, so my opinion is very high. Wonderful, warm people that love Greeks in general.
Very conservative people, homophobic and xenophobic.
Beyond orthodox faith nothing else is common between us.
