Very thankful she (likely) had her eyes closed when this happened and is not blinded.
She’s a hero soldier made of ukranium. Death to the RF!
I continue to be awed by the bravery of these heroes.
May victory be theirs soon.
You don’t need to prove anything: you are a nice person, a strong woman and a true warrior.
I wish you a speedy recovery. Your energy and spirit is amazing. Thank you for fighting for us. You are a hero….
Holy shit, I thought she had dirt splattered over her face at first. What causes wounds like this?
You are braver than many men!
Warrior
Fuck Russia
With a face that is so scarred I wonder how her eyes ended up unharmed.
So happy her eyes are OK, brave lady
A true warrior.

What an incredible woman. Here’s wish a speedy recovery and a buoyant souls. Slava Ukraini!
Good thing her eyeballs are intact
Thank God she did not lose her sight.
I hope all Ukranian soldiers wear eye protection at all times. That cheap piece of polycarbonate plastic can be the difference between “minor” injury and the same combined with blindness.
This war will also see so much hearing damage. People firing guns with no hearing protection. Sure hearing returns after the ringing dies down. But years later you hear that ringing 24/7 due to the accumulated damage. It also makes separating speech from background noise harder.
Earplugs are cheap and can be cut with scissors so that they fit comfortably (People skipping wearing protection due to minor discomfort is a big cause of nasty injury). Completely plugged ear canals gives the best protection, but can also lead to problems with wax buildup and you also hear sound transmitted through the bones much louder, which is problematic. Find a balance between comfort and protection so that you actually wear it all the time.
Just a bit of dampening goes a long way when there is a sudden bang nearby. You can also cut a small hole in them with a nail or something pointy for cutting down noise just a notch but still hear speech fine. I wear such under the regular hearing protection when operating tools. It all adds up.
Sorry for the long safety spiel. But if just one person reads it and wears protection more often then it was worth writing.
♥️
That has to itch like crazy as it heals
What a beautiful and brave girl! Especially compared to all Ukrainian men who are hiding in safe countries. Slava Ukraini!
Lucky soldier they will eventually heal and very quickly god speed to her Slava ukraini
Why not wear goggles in a combat? A small peck of debris that would hardly scratch the skin can make you blind for life.

How good is her recovery likely to be?
Oh goodness gracious! I literally thought it was a video taken right after an explosion and dirt was strewn on her face and I was waitong wjere she was wounded… The realization dawned.
