Croky Chips probably feeling bypassed right now….
There is no one better than imec and ASML from Netherlands better positioned to get a fab up & running. Question is who, where, when will they operate the new business and will it make profit
Putting things in perspective: the EU will invest about 45mio Euro in semiconductors while TSMC (the largest producer of chips worldwide) invests about 100mio a year. So while this initiative from the EU is great, it’s not everything.
