  22. If Harris doesn’t show up to the Fox debate 6 days earlier, he’ll use it as an excuse not to attend the one on ABC. If Harris does somehow show up to the Fox debate, he’ll argue that further debates are no longer needed.

    In either case, there will be no ABC debate.

  24. Trump is proposing three debates, with the first being on Fox “News,” and the one on ABC actually being on September 25. He originally agreed to a debate on ABC on September 10, regardless of who was the Democratic nominee. Of course, he has no intention of attending anything after the one on Fox, which won’t at all be a neutral setting.

    The April debate was already agreed to, and scheduled already for September 10.

    He since backed out, then said Fox News, in front an audience (of Fox News fans), hosted by Brett Baier and Martha MacCallum. September 4.

    So now he’s saying safe space Fox, September 4, ABC September 10, NBC or whatever September 20-something.

    If anyone sees this as other than what it already was, a way for Trump to get Kamala Harris in front of a safe space crowd on a safe space network so he can beat on her unimpeded or unshackled, they’re as chucklefucked as he is.

    He wouldn’t even show up for the ABC event afterwards.

    Which he agreed to do. In like March.

    She must absolutely stick to just the 10th and then potentially something else.

    If she doesn’t first of these three debates on Fox fake news frump will drop the other two debates. She should make the abc interview the only one she agrees to first and then if necessary maybe other interviews afterward. And she must make it clear to the world and all media that they are not agreeing to Fox interview as they are just an entertainment channel. Fox themselves uses this excuse in court. And if there is need for a third debate it will be in a mutually agreed neutral location and if an entertainment channel is the desired hosting platform it will be one other than Fox.

    Does anyone _not_ think that he’ll do the fox one and then just bail on the rest? Regardless of how it goes he knows fox will help him frame it as a win and he’ll try to salvage enough from it to skate through to November. He won’t do that one and then _two more_ on networks he claims to hate.

    This is Trump stating new terms though on his own and agreeing with his own terms. Harris has said nothing on this and has not responded or agreed to this new deal (pun intended) at all.

    Besides, it would be idiotic for Harris to humor these terms at all and would make her look like a fool if she did, which we know his base will spin on her.
