  3. For an article titled “Get Ready Now…” there was surprisingly little information on what an average person could do if their county election officials throw things into chaos.

    Not that it will likely be a problem in my red state (you never know, could be a huge upset, but I digress), was still curious what they suggest people should do in that case.

  6. Question, if Harris wins the most votes, and all other races are won by Republicans, Congress, State offices, County, DA, etc, does the refusal to certify mean that Republican winners also lose out? Same ballots, would not think they can not certify her and certify the Republican winners .

    Because they already wanted to do this – its just going to be a lot harder for them when Biden is actually in the WH.

    2020 caught them off guard. That’s why their coup was rushed and sloppy. They didn’t think they would lose.

    They’re much more organized now. And much more dangerous.

  15. This is an even better reason to expand the supreme court NOW. That way we wont have to deal with a situation where battleground counties are being disputed and clarence thomas gets to crown trump king for life.

  17. Just a reminder to the civilians in the “trenches” of elections that prison time and large fines are going to be had if they try it will be enough I bet. We have already seen it take place, when it is your life on the line people usually snap out of it, cult or not. I also believe the punishments were not severe enough for the treasonous , but, I also still believe people can get wrapped up over time, and can quickly make the right decision when it matters most. Especially when weighing the reality of actual personal accountability over cult mentality.
    If Pence can do it….. just a simple reminder from the POTUS to election workers will do fine. Damn, optimism makes me happy, huh, who would have known.

  21. That’s fine. Conservative lawyers have already affirmed that the Vice President can appoint and certify any one they want as president.

When voting day comes, ensure that every single ballot box has plenty of officials and observers loyal to the Constitution and Democracy, have an army of lawyers on stand-by. And put the National Guard on high alert, everywhere. If necessary prepare for invoking the Insurrection Act.

  24. While I’m happy there is actually hope in this election and not just two old men yelling insults at each other. This thought has been living rent free in my head since they announced Harris as their official nominee.

  27. They did this to Biden 26 times in the last election. They were each sued, they each lost, and a judge compelled each of them to obey the will of the voters.

    Despite all that, VOTE.

  31. This is what I started to touch on last night. Now that he’s not campaigning, Biden has all this extra time on his hands. He knows the ins and outs of the system of things more than anyone, and after 50 years, you’d expect that. He’s got something for their asses if they try to pull this stunt. There’s lots of time to screw the GOP into accepting the outcome if they lose, and that’s just what he’s always intended to do. Mark my words–when all the chaos starts, see them surprisingly be defeated, all by what Biden is doing in service of a fair election, now that the spotlight’s not on him.
