  1. It’s funny because Walz isn’t intentionally masculine. He’s just comfortable in his own skin. Showing empathy and humor is more masculine then performative bullshit.

  2. Tim Walz’s masculinity is so powerful that it sometimes terrifies Tim Walz. It’s an awesome responsibility to have that much masculinity in one person, but Tim bears that responsibility.

  15. I don’t know about Walz, I thought he was impressive but once I heard Trump talk about him yesterday I’m worried.

    Here is what Trump said at the presser.

    “….she picked a radical left …..uh…man….that is uh…he’s got things done that he…he has positions that it’s not even possible to believe they exist…he’s going for things that nobody’s even heard of…heavy into the Transgender world..heavy into lots of different worlds having to do with safety…”

    if only men knew how much better they would look if they were considerate and educated about women and their bodies while at the same time taking them seriously and seeing them as equal human beings.

    True leaders don’t hide behind, defunct, labels like “Alpha”.

    Smart people don’t need to tell everyone how smart they are. Nor do they feel a need to show it.

    Success isn’t a number in a bank account, it’s contentment with what you have accomplished.

    Compassion isn’t weakness nor is it something to be exploited.

    These fundamental truths are definitely terrifying to small men with inflated egos. Walz is an ordinary guy who, by merit of just being ordinary, is popping their balloon and they hate it.

  27. I had almost completely given up hope that a truly normal, regular person would emerge as a viable candidate.

    So many smart and motivated people prefer to excel in business than in politics, leaving the power hungry crazies and dweebs (sorry but true) to run for office on the right and left respectively.

    Tim is such a healthy choice and it is no surprise to me that he has been met with such enthusiasm from voters.

  28. The last high school teacher and coach to rise so high in U.S. politics was Dennis Hastert, the Republican Speaker of the House who was also a child molester. Republicans were just fine supporting him, but they hate Walz because he ensures schoolkids are properly fed.

    You know what the actual threat to our country is? It’s not gay folks or transgender folks or anything like that. It’s candy ass men like Donald and ‘JD ‘ (whatever his actual name is). This ‘man’ wears eye liner for fucks sake. Let’s bring back real men like Tim. Good men who care about their women and families and who care about their fellow citizens. THAT’s a real man.
