What has started 898 days ago as a “three-day russian blitzkrieg against Kyiv” turned into a complete disaster for putin and his regime. It is estimated that as of today Ukrainian Armed Forces control approximately 400 square km of the russian territory, and this number keeps expanding.

My only worry about converting alphabets would be one of the things that happened to Turkish: sure they suddenly had a language that a great majority of the world could at least sound out, but it meant also that centuries of Ottoman writings could no longer be read by anyone except dedicated scholars – and they could put their own interpretation on it.

    Mind you, I don't have a dog in this fight – English has been using the Latin alphabet since before modern English itself was even invented 🙂

The military and political leadership of Ruzzia didn't even have the foresight to take the necessary precautions to protect their border regions against a possible Ukrainian invasion because it was unthinkable to them that it would actually happen. Good on the AFU to exploit this weakness to their benefit. Hopefully they have troops, ammunition and logistics to be able to consolidate their gains and possibly take more territory.

  6. This Kursk invasion reminds me of the giant statue that the king Nabucodonosor wanted to build out of gold, silver, copper, iron and clay. Its feet were made of clay and the statue crumbled. The northern frontier is the clay feet of russia.

  17. to the russian mothers what about the "children" that were kidnapped from UKRAINE by russia those are children. and they weren't carrying guns. those are kids and they need to be returned to ukraine, so the russian mothers need to stop crying. you supported this war 100% bring back the ukraine children.

  18. Hi Starsky, I love your reports, but can I make a suggestion for your audio? For some reason, your S sounds are really cutting through very loudly. I checked with a spectrogram, and it looks like you're getting a big spike around 8 khz. Some studios will buy hardware called a de-esser which cuts those frequencies, but I'm quite sure there are software tools to help with this, probably even free tools.
    Or maybe your Equalizer got bumped, and needs a readjustment, because I don't remember hearing your audio sound like this before.
    Just wanted to alert you.

  19. RU predictable…. UA unpredictable….. Russia will lose this war…… I owe a lot to the people of Ukraine, who continue to inspire me and lift me in times of trouble, in my own life…. I donate and do what I can for Ukraine… I hope to visit and have a beer , when this is over.. I think that all UA territories must be liberated (which includes Crimea), before we can consider negotiations…. God bless Ukraine.

  25. Ukraine occupies a small part of Kursk at the moment. So if you use Russian logic the whole of Kursk Oblast is now Ukrainian territory.

  37. I have heard this could be an agricultural attack upon russia? That the power plant supplies 90% to agriculture and this is the perfect time to attack their sugar industry along with many other aspects of agriculture that have deep ties attached to the power power plant? Have only seen one person attribute this attack to crippling russian agriculture… it's a sound point imo
