Always amazes me what some people will try and send in the post

  1. The stupid bit is complaining, you lose all plausible deniability

  2. This is pretty common. I know a fella who gets it through the post most months. How it gets through baffles me.

  3. Thanks for bringing it, I was already scared it got lost!

  4. There’s a load of online marketplaces that sell all sorts of drugs for delivery. It’s been going on for over a decade, most notably Silkroad, whose founder is in jail for the rest of his life.
More typically, people are using WhatsApp and Insta to get deliveries to the door, usually by a county lines gang.
Drugs will always be easy to get for people who want them, new technologies are making even harder to police.

  5. Barely even looks like a quarter. Quite pathetic that this is what the police spend their time doing, to be honest.

  6. Reminds me of the time the police found 10k of marked notes and kindly invited the owner to come down to the station to collect them.

  7. It amazes me it’s an arrestable offense to buy weed in 2024.

  8. Use Hermes (i.e. “evri”), they won’t mind. You’ll receive it in 2029 though

  9. As people have said, it’s extremely common.

In a former life before I found recovery, I was a prolific dark web consumer. I had everything from multiple pounds of weed brick compressed and shipped in from Amsterdam and Canada to the UK.

An inordinate amount of cocaine shipped domestically.

And let’s not forget the acid. Oh, and the steroids, lots and lots of steroids and other PEDs.

However I guess the maddest thing we did was shipped a rather large quantity of raw 2cb powder in from China, back before buying it in the UK was really a thing.

There’s a funny story about our little operation on weighing and capping that 2cb that went wrong, but I’ll save it for another time… 😅

  10. Stupider still that anyone gives enough of a shit to intercept it

  11. Why would you mail it when you can just go to your local cannabis store and buy it? Oh right, this is Wales not Canada eh!

  12. Kind of a poor use of police time, and makes them look petty IMO. Just confiscate and be done with it.

We should be following a track to legalization with restrictions on use in public spaces. It’d free up police time, give us a new revenue stream, and allow us some measure of control on THC levels through regulation.

  13. I remember Christmas 2017 we had a parcel turn up in Cardiff RM depot that stunk the place out of weed…. Parcel machines shut down whilst the sniffer dog searched for the parcel 😂
