  13. design criteria for most electrical equipment is 45ceksius.i am now tlking about powerlines, transformers etc. the design criteria was set once upon a time because the trmperstires where considered to be extreme. just to mention; the max design trmoerature for a boeing 737 is 53 degrees celsius. at 50 degrees performance in terms of mtow is sevverly diminin7shed. technically systems are simply not designed for these temperature.
