  1. I doubt Ukraine will agree to a ceasefire. But try suggesting giving up stolen land and fucking off back home to Russia.

  2. Seeks for excuse to lift up sanctions from him, nothing more.

  3. He is a state-approved envoy for economic ties with asia. He is allowed to say this, because it helps his literal job. Of course in a japanese media he would say something like this. Besides that he’s basically just praising china & india for keeping ru economy afloat.

  4. He remembered the humiliation received from Putin …

  5. Absolutely no reason we can’t have a ceasefire. The terms are reasonably straightforward, Russia needs to leave Ukraine. It really is that simple.

  6. Momentum is turning in Ukraine’s favor so russian representatives talk more about ceasefire, which would preserve russian land grab. There can be ceasefire as soon as russia fucks out of Ukraine.

  7. The fact that oligarchs are Putins piggy banks is hilarious. When he needs money he smashes them and repossess their assets.

  8. That’s a lot of window talk in that statement. I wonder whether a meeting at terminal velocity with the pavement is on the cards in the future.

  9. This is just cynical virtue-signaling from Deripaska on behalf of his fellow Russians.

Unless the Russians actually adhere to a ceasefire with the Ukrainians (ha!), the Russians withdraw unconditionally all of their combat personnel and colonizers from occupied and annexed Ukraine, and return all of the abducted / imprisoned / trapped Ukrainians currently in Russia, Deripaska’s pleas aren’t worth ѕhіt.

  10. don’t go buying houses with a window view of a street mate

  11. Oleg is one of key Putin’s crony. He’s a head of RusAl aluminium monopoly. And aluminum seems to be Russia’s second most important resource to sell besides oil.

In practice it functions the same as oil does, by creating dependencies akin to that of Nord Stream or Druzhba. Russia undercuts competition, and then countries-buyers turn a blind eye to Russian war crimes.

There is a talk running around the town, that some of the private European CNC manufacturers in the defense sector are still buying Russian aluminum via third parties that erase country of origin, and stump some middle-asian country name.
Don’t know how widespread it is, but it does show, that Russians are trying to profit from their own aggression against Europe.

  12. “Deripaska supported occupation of Ukrainian territories, forced labor of tens of thousands of Ukrainians, indoctrination of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children, etc. And advocated to give Russia even more time to preparation for even greater war, or, with help with already almost military allies, WW3.”

  13. My condolences on his accident. Very sad. So unexpected.

To fall out of 10th-story apartment’s plate glass window after drinking 3 bottles of vodka and accidentally discharging a pistol 3 times into the back of his own head?

No one could have seen it coming. Tragic.

    10/05/2022:

    >The British rationale is that Deripaska is “a prominent Russian businessman and pro-Kremlin oligarch” who is “closely associated with the government of [Russia](https://www.theguardian.com/world/russia) and Vladimir Putin”, according to his entry on the sanctions list.
“Deripaska is or has been involved in obtaining benefit from or supporting the government of Russia,” it states, by virtue of his interests in the “Russian extractives and energy sectors, sectors of strategic significance to the government of Russia”.

  15. And there is Mr. Deripaska performing his 50 meter window dive.

    Excellent form!

And here are the judges scores… 10….10….9.5….10….and 6.

  16. Funny how aggressors always call for ceasefire the second they get punched in the face.
