1. Interesting article, and unfortunately a sign of things to come. However, I posit that this is only transitionary because stable, sedentary agricultural societies will begin to break down and opportunities for less hierarchical societies may become possible long-term due to necessity.
   Lots of pain will come before that happens, unfortunately.
