There is Information, that 🇷🇺Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was shot down, presumably in Kursk region. Prior to that, the Russians had repeatedly reported that Ukraine had reinforced 🇺🇸American MIM-104 Patriot air defence system to the border.

2. Such great news! KA-52 and now an SU-34 today. Russia still has so much inventory, but a couple less a week will start putting some strains on in a year or two.

3. Great, but perhaps even more valuable than the loss of a plane is that the pilots will have to launch farther away and lower their accuracy/hit rate; or given that it is Russia, accidentally drop a bomb on their own city!

11. Ukraine should start planning to flank and move troops up from other border areas. They need to start creating breathing space in their regions near the Kursk border.
