Isn’t really a fair comparison because it doesn’t scale properly. China could win gold in literally everything and they’d still have a lower rate than what we have in the graphic.
Ireland is fifth, ahead of Australia but behind St Lucia, Dominica, New Zealand and Slovenia.
But when you include countries who’ve won multiple medals we’re third.
