I know this sounds obvious to fellas in this sub, but Russia is incapable of pre-empting or improvising. Their entire doctrine and culture is to push orders and material to the front based on prepared plans. Even when information omes in that allows them to anticipate an opponent’s actions, there’s no methods or incentive to act before it’s too late. Even when higher command utterly fails like this, they will just push the blame to lower levels.
I’m secretly hoping they’re marching up to Moscow
