  5. Hope to see Kaliningrad back in the hands of Germany again as Königsberg, so it being NATO. Bolsheviks claimed it was ancient Slavic land as a justification to annex it, but they found no proof.

  22. 900 days into Russia’s 3 day military operation and Ukraine is running around in Russian territory virtually unopposed. But yeah, we’re *definitely* going to take them seriously now because they are *definitely* willing to start a nuclear war with the West. 

    To call Putin a clown would be an insult to clowns. 

  24. The West accepted for decades Russia to it’s western neighbours – no you can’t do that – it threatens us. Do what, whatever militarisation you want to do. So the neighbours of Russia all became ‘Finlandised.’ and yet we permit nuclear Iskander missiles? No. Remove or be invaded. Kaliningrad is no longer ceded. Russia OUT.

  27. As a Lithuanian I can say nothing rises. They have these nukes in there for decades and kept showing on the news how they gonna nuke everyone. Don’t get scared by bluff and support Ukraine even more by more military aid and lifting up stupid weapons use restrictions because Ivan understands only that type of negotiations.

  35. Sooooo … how many times does russia “deploy” them in Könisberg? Over the past few years it seems they have done it every few weeks to months according to the headlines. While in practice it is well known that they have kept these in there for the past few decades, hell there have been even photos taken during NATO interceptions over the Baltic sea of some version of their SU plane flying with a nuke attached.

    I mean sure, it generates a headline, but surely its not a news by now.

    On the flip side of a coin, NATO has more nukes and theirs actually work because they have been properly maintained.
