Family whose daughter died in Channel say they will attempt crossing again

5. These people have come all the way from Kuwait. Apparently Kuwait does not recognise these people as citizens.

   What do they think they have waiting for them in the UK that they are so desperate to get there? What makes UK such an attractive destination over the dozen or so safe countries they have passed through?

13. It says in the article that they are from Kuwait. If they took a land route through predominantly Muslim countries this means that they decided not to settle in any of the following countries: Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. As a European I have zero sympathy for these people. Kuwait is not in an active war and they decided to come to England of all places!
