    AM: Nkunku/Palmer/Chukwuemeka

    RW: Palmer/Neto/Madueke

    I’m so sorry, but after £1.2 billion spent, this is still so underwhelming. Neto was a good signing but obviously fitness issues.

    Same with Nkunku. In 2023, he missed around 7-8 months of different injuries. In 2024, he’s missed 3 of the 5 months of the PL season.

    Sterling and Mudryk are meh. Guiu is unproven, and Felix did average while he was here in 2022/23.

    Palmer and Jackson have to be near perfect and replicate last season for Chelsea, which is very tough to do. They did really good last season. Jackson is underappreciated

    They should be able to finish in the top 7 again though. Not in terms of quality, but quantity. There’s enough to get them over.
    – Enzo, Caicedo, KDH, Ugochukwu, Veiga, and Lavia is very average but there’s enough to work with, barely.
    – Fofana, Badiashile, Disasi, Tosin, Colwill as the CBs should be enough as well, though one or two of them will be very unhappy with their playing time. 5 senior CBs is a lot. Their fullbacks are also decent.

  25. Genuine question – isn’t there a limit for how many players you can like squad up for the year? Aren’t they gonna end up leaving some players out?
