I always have to wonder how accurate these family trees that supposedly go back hundreds of years are. I can’t imagine record keeping about individuals was even remotely common or reliable for much time before the turn of the 20th century in any one of those countries, never mind being able to follow an unbroken chain of your ancestry through 600+ years and multiple countries.
