>BREAKING: Tories release Sue Gray report: The Government ▇▇▇▇▇▇ a ▇▇▇▇▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ so ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ the ▇▇▇▇▇▇. Consequently, Conservative MPs held ▇ no. ▇▇ parties which is entirely ▇acceptable during lockdown. Boris Johnson’s actions were therefore ▇fair, ▇▇honest and highly ▇▇respectful to those following the rules and it is recommended he does ▇▇ carry on as PM.
Props to the original BTL comment in the Guardian.
This is genuinely open corruption. Genuinely, why aren’t there riots and a more massive uproar over this?
We don’t want the fucking watered down bullshit – give us the whole thing you soft cunts
Does it even matter anymore? This report is pointless.
A picture is worth a thousand words…
You people actually voted for this as well.
What’s the point? It’s compromised. Thanks Cressida.
Meaningless.
This is never going to change anyone’s mind. All Boris has to do is repeat “we must wait for the police investigation” until the Met go “no further action” in a few weeks, at which point he can immediately pivot to “the police have said it wasn’t illegal”.
There is absolutely no point in a redacted version of the report being released. Might as well wait for the police investigation to conclude then release the report in full. LOL like we’re ever seeing the full version.
Corrupt police and corrupt politicians… If this is allowed to be white washed we are even more fucked than I thought
Frustrating the law. Buying Johnson more time. Don’t trust the MET. Dick will need to pull out from the force first.
If this is the only version we see
A redacted copy. This completes the circle
And we officially live in open corruption
It’s past due riots. Past due.
I feel so utterly powerless. What the hell can I do? None of us are doing anything! I’m not doing anything! But I’m so outraged!!
Does it even matter? They could release pictures of Priti Patel bent over a desk getting shagged up the arse by Boris and nothing would happen.
Call me clinical but I think I see a couple of titled female coming up in the new years honers list .
The main problem why censorship is so dangerous and wrong is ▇▇▇▇▇▇.
1)They release the watered down version of the report.
2)The public get angry, but no definitive points can be addressed because it’s redacted.
3) Conservatives play the wait and see game, but now with the police “investigation”.
4) Months later, the full report is released, but during another crisis, so that it doesn’t look as bad.
5) people again get angry but the momentum is lacking for anything to be done. The Tories get to say they kept their promise, they apologise profusely, while also exclaiming how well they are handling what ever crisis 548 is (probably another asteroid, haven’t had one of those in a little bit)
Have I missed any steps?
The most depressing thing about all this was today’s newspapers. One front page about civil servants being paid too much, another front page about National Insurance payments, another front page about Barry Cryer’s death. You wouldn’t know there was anything going on at all r.e. Johnson and his gang of crooks from a glance at the news-stand. Such an insane level of propaganda is why we’ve had Murdoch’s chosen lackeys for the last 41 years and why we won’t be allowed any change in the foreseeable future.
What a crock of shit. Fucking corrupt from the top to bottom.
We need drastic change and soon before we lose what’s left of our country, rights and freedom. Before it’s too late.
The whole point of not releasing the report was that they did not want to influence any statements made by those who have committed offences. And yet those who have clearly committed offences are the ones who have redacted this report. Seriously, you could not make this shit up.
Why redact if she’s independent? Please go Boris Johnson.
This government is a joke, why even bother. These fuckers in Downing Street should just say do as I say and not as I do since we are boss that would at least be honest for once, lying clown fart of a PM
I guess how you decide to vote is the best form of protest. Even if you have a fantastic conservative councillor working for you and they are doing a great job, you should let them know that you are unable to support them due to your belief that the current p.m is morally bankrupt. That kind of power shakes the tree.
Met police would have known about the parties, who do you think provides the security at number 10, they are implicated and yes this will all get covered up….. Russian report, now when did that get published? They are taking us for fools.
I’d love for it to be redacted in a pedantic way, and any time something was redacted due to investigation, just rewrite <Evidence of x commited by y redacted at request by Z>
If they only want to redact actions, because they don’t want stories to align, well, the conclusion should still be safe. Without the actions in the report, they can’t even defend them.
I’ve seen the redacted version that’s 98 pages of black marker and an epilogue saying “Not guilty.”
When is the -redacted- coming out.
-Redacted-
Oh okay.
How long does it take the police to investigate offences in which it issues on the spot fines?
Luckily the redacted bits only name the attendees of parties.
