I will be taking the ferry from Värdo to Brändo with my bicycle, but I would like to make a stop in Kumlinge to visit the church. If I get back on the ferry line the same day can I use my same ticket from the first leg? Or do I have to buy another ticket? I am just trying to save money as much as possible as l've been bikepacking across the islands. Thank you all in advance 🙂 the company is alandstrafiken.ax if that helps if anyone did something like this

  1. I’m pretty sure you need a separate ticket, since it’s not the same trip, at least that’s what I gathered from personal experience. But you can call and ask them, their customer service worked really well last time I used it

  2. Not sure about this specific ferry line, but I doubt you can use your previous ticket again if you drop off during it. Unless it specifically says it’s a day ticket

  3. It says in [the price list](https://www.alandstrafiken.ax/sites/www.alandstrafiken.ax/files/2024_skargardstrafikens_prislista.pdf):

    > För fordon från ändhamn till mellanhamn eller vice versa.

    > Priset gäller för tur- och returresa eller för vidareresa efter övernattning i skärgården.”

    Which is (by Google translate):

    > For vehicles from final port to intermediate port or vice versa.

    > The price is valid for a round trip or for onward travel after an overnight stay in the archipelago.

So don’t go directly thru the route, otherwise you pay more 🙂
