‘Nobody is above the law’: Theresa May wades into Downing Street parties row

  1. It doesn’t really matter what she says. The government have demonstrated that they *are* above the law. The police aren’t interested in investigating them, regardless of what they say, and no inquiry is ever, actually, independent.

  2. Nothing like selling weapons to perpetrators of war crimes in Yemen tho amirite. Or deporting the windrush generation without due process.

Disclaimer; she’s right, and yes I’m just sniping. It’s nice to see someone actually try to rein in the freak show that is the current government cabinet.

  3. She helped oversee the purge of moderates from the party and did made the idiotic decision to give the likes of Johnson and Patel Cabinet positions, which have only benefited them since May resigned. She is right that no one is above the law, however she helped to enable and embolden those currently acting as if they are.

  4. When the police intervene to cover up a crime they previously refused to investigate in plane sight of the public what kind of corruption is beneath the surface?

  5. Unless you’re a Tory and in power then nobody is abovd the law.

Let’s be honest the police won’t do naff all even if Boris and his crew started murdering people.

  6. It’s worrying that since Blair we have had a worse pm every time, n now I’m wondering how we can do worse than Johnson and truss is waiting in the wings.

Fitting that she supports Johnson and brexit and her name literally means a tool that supports bollocks.

  7. > “I haven’t been this gleeful since I ran through those fields of wheat,” continued the second worst Prime Minister of the past five years.

  8. She has form for editing investigative reports that don’t fit with Tory politics. Anyone remember the report into drugs that she heavily edited?

  9. Fucking finally may. Where have you been foaming at the mouth from exactly? Scared if the whi0 as an ex pm? A joke of a person has found itself in May

  10. No one has ever told Boris No, that’s why he gets away with everything, the man has no sense of responsibility. I’m shocked he’s still leader.

  11. I never felt that Theresa May was a bad person. Extremely misguided in her beliefs and stubborn as a mule-definitely but fundamentally a decent person. I have no such qualms about Boris

  12. Isn’t this the same Teresa May who rolled full steam in illegally removing the EU citizenship of 54 million Brits? Not to mention moving forward and implementing the result of a non-binding referendum? The hypocrisy is incredible.
