Will deffo be visiting on my next trip 😍
Porthgain isn’t the most photogenic little port, perhaps, but it is an interesting place and the Sloop is a lovely pit stop. The coastal path on either side is also pleasant, from memory. I’ve walked there a couple of times from Abereiddi, and in fact Porthgain was the port for the slate quarry there that’s now been rebranded as the ‘Blue Lagoon’.
Spent Christmas there. Wet and wild but fabulous. Pubs was great.
