Very interested to see what’s going on here. Maybe it was an error and they accidentally listed him as being born in Ireland because he had an Irish passport. However, the idea of him committing immigration fraud is hilarious
Ireland doesn’t have MPs.
The article doesn’t really present any good reason to believe that he isn’t entitled to a passport. Yeah, he filled out a Canadian immigration form with incorrect information. Whether that was a mistake or a lie is for the Canadians to deal with, but that doesn’t say anything about what he said to Irish authorities.
Of course, a passport includes your place of birth, so it would be foolish to lie on the form if the passport didn’t agree with that…
Irish “MPs” can say what they want, and they often do, doesn’t really mean much in relation to the procedures of the passport office
Shocking that the military police corp had to get involved
Oxygen thief. Wish everywhere would stop giving him airtime
He looks like that MMA dwarf Hasbullah
He’s literally an illegal migrant
Maybe handing out passports like confetti wasnt a great idea
Quote is from a Labour TD: “He called on the UK Foreign Office and Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs to liaise in relation to the accuracy of information given. “We must take on all far-right activism when we see it. If someone is travelling on an Irish passport and fomenting far-right hate then we have a responsibility to explore all methods of pressure to stop it,” Smith added.”
This sounds really off to me, coming from an elected TD. Yes, Tommy is a 🔔 end, but exploring all methods of pressure to stop someone doing something you disagree with?
If he has broken the law, 100% go after him and everyone else who breaks the law. I’m just shocked at the idea of an elected representative being allowed to publicly announce he wants to use the power of the government to put pressure on someone for their beliefs (no mention of laws being broken). That in itself, sounds illegal.
Am I missing something here?
Its funny how all the biggest Brexit supporters/leaders all had a plan B.
They have all found sneaky ways to access the benefits of being part of the EU while their braindead followers have to suffer all the negatives.
We hand out passports far to easily, if you don’t live on the island an Irish passport should cost thousands to acquire not €90.
The Special Branch should arrest him whenever he sets foot in Ireland and put him up in the SCC or would their handlers in MI5 not allow this?
So he’s an illegal immigrant?
TDs but thank God
He does have a big Irish head on tbf. This assume he’s a big Sinn Fein nationalist is you saw him walking down the street, harping on about the 32 countries and our mother tongue
Given we have just stripped some one of their British citizenship here (teenage girl who travelled to Syria to join ISIS) would be interesting/funny to see if there was a race between you fine folk and ourselves to strip this troglodyte of his citizenship.
Alternatively, both our countries claim Rockall. We could jointly imprison him there in some sort of exercise in working together and friendship.
No no no. Don’t do that when you’re handing out passports to people with no identification
For a guy who is so upset about people entering countries illegally, he sure does enter a lot of countries illegally
Shouldn’t there be a fit and proper person test for anyone not born in Ireland before getting a passport.
Or at least charge them a million euro for the privilege. /s
