  1. Where are these responsible comedies and jokes that don’t make it to the screen? I just saw “Good Boys” and I’m wondering what was left out. Where were they stifled? I hear old folks complaining about censorship but never explaining what’s being censored.

  2. Some movies Vince Vaughan may have missed:

    – Bodies Bodies Bodies
    – The Menu
    – Saltburn
    – Bottoms
    – No Hard Feelings
    – Babylon
    – The Suicide Squad
    – American Fiction
    – Kinds of Kindness
    – Red Rocket
    – Zola
    – Joy Ride

And I frankly wouldn’t blame him, because a lot of these underperformed and some of them aren’t even good, but they all have the leash off and seem to reflect their creators’ intentions.

  3. The best comedies often come from fresh, unfiltered voices. Hollywood should definitely give young creators more freedom to push boundaries.

  4. To rectify the timeline we need a movie with two gay guys sitting playing a video game arguing about “you know how I know you’re straight?”

  5. I listened to an interview with him, and it wasn’t that he was wishing people could be racist without getting canceled. He wished that studios would butt out and have faith in the talent that they hire.

I’ve always enjoyed his acting and he came across as a thoughtful person who had been navigating the bullshit of Hollywood since the 90s.

  6. **Fr tho** when was the last genuinely outstanding comedy?

  7. This dude probably feels old now that he can’t get paired with women half his age and way out of his league.
    Yawn.
