  1. They can dislodge by trading captured territory…Although I kind of enjoy watching Ukraine’s borders grow.

  2. Yes. Attack in big, long, armored columns. Nothing could go wrong.

  3. Orders?!?! The only thing in this world that gives and gets orders, cabron: balls.

  4. Oh, the Russian army was sitting around waiting for him to order them to repel an invasion?  Nice officer corps you have there

  5. > “Apparently, the enemy is striving to improve its negotiating positions in the future,” Putin said Monday. “But what kind of negotiations can we even talk about with people who indiscriminately strike at civilians, at civilian infrastructure?”

If you want to negotiate with Putin you have to deal with a guy who will just completely deny any reality like Donald Trump.

  6. They are going to dislodge YOU from the Kremlin. Time to be Mussolini’d.

  7. But… but Gerasimov said that the attack was thwarted a week ago?

  8. This seems like a very smart move by Ukraine, I am sure it has sent shock waves through Moscow. They need to keep pushing and thinking out of the box.

  9. US needs to authorize use of weapons on any Russian military targets.

  10. Putin really thought this war would have taken a week and now he’s getting invaded. LOL

  11. I still suspect the UA has some surprise equipment it’s holding.

You know the kind that was designed to obliterate Soviet armour on the move?

The same kind that uses the same fuel as an M1 Abrams. You know, with the hellfires.

  12. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ukraine-russia-war-kursk-putin-orders-army-to-dislodge-ukrainian-troops/) reduced by 90%. (I’m a bot)

    > President Vladimir Putin ordered his army on Monday to "Dislodge" Ukrainian troops who have entered Russian territory as authorities said more than 120,000 people had been evacuated away from the fighting.

    > A top Ukrainian official told AFP over the weekend that the operation was aimed at stretching Russian troops and destabilizing the country after months of slow Russian advances across the frontline.

    > The Ukrainian official said thousands of Ukrainian troops were involved in the operation.

  13. Well, big bad Putin himself ordered it. That basically means that Gerassimov better “liberate” Russian territory well before the US election…….or else. It was a major embarassment for the Russians that the Ukranians caught them completely on the wrong foot with their attack. If they manage to hold their advances well into winter then heads will roll among the Russian top brass.

  14. News flash: Russian army on Poland’s doorstep after Putin solves incursion and stalled frontline by ordering his army to “just win the war bro”

  15. Comrades, I said “don’t lose” what didn’t you understand about that?

  16. You would have thought that they would have been trying already, but I guess not.

  17. He ordered then to take Kyiv in 3 days.

That didn’t work out so well for him either.

  18. “I ordered this be done. Why is it not done?”

“Well, the Ukrainians are preventing it.”

“Ok, but I ordered it. So it should be done.”

“Sir, the roads into the area are at maximum capacity as our army enters the area.”

“But it is not done yet. It should be done. My order was to do it and so now it is done, correct?”

“…. uh… yes Sir. It is done.”

    (window slowly slides open)

  19. Sounds like ukraines getting what it wants to out Russia off balance

  20. That’s some Sun Tzu level military genius. Leader orders army to do what it was already trying and failing at. Any other pearls of wisdom to drop on the army Putin?

“Like just win guys. Please?” -Putin

  21. I’m reasonably certain that Russia is a paper tiger. I’d be seriously surprised if the Russian federation survives this shitstorm. They are hemorrhaging money, lives, armament, equipment and leadership. There’s a shift on that I don’t think people are seeing. There’s a far from non zero chance that this shift is going to be a change of the game for Russia. This is the kind of overextension that has been building for the 800+ days since the full on invasion. Once they failed in the first days, this thing was going badly from that point on. Mother Russia has been spending far more on this misadventure than anyone but Putin actually knows. It might be enough to bankrupt the military or worse. Lead to the collapse of the economy and the government soon after.

  22. Army, start winning and stop losing. Military genius right here.

  23. That’s why they didn’t do it sooner. Putin hadnt “ordered” them to.

  24. Pretty soon he will be directing phantom battalions, just like his hero hitler

  25. I hope he dislodges that stick from his ass and gets the fuck out of Ukraine.

    Fuck Putin. Fuck Russia.

  26. I can’t believe these clowns were feared as the second strongest military in the world.

  27. Going to be hilarious when Ukraine annexes Russia to it’s territory.

  28. I feel like this is going to lead to the collapse of the russian army or Putin’s reign.

The only way to fend off this incursion is to send tons of reinforcment columns that will get battered by ukranian himars and atacms.

As more russians get displaced, it is going to be harder for Putin to keep his military in occupied ukraine when when they cannot even defend their homeland.

Russia is finally being put into a bind that is going to be very hard to break out of. I hope western allies ease up on long range strikes into russian territory to continue to put the pressure on Russia.

  29. Russia seems surprised and shocked that a country it declared war on and invaded would also try to invade and do war in Russia.

  30. Maybe his army should just dislodge Putin. Save a lot of lives. Their own.

  31. Mein Fuhrer – the Steiner counter attack has…has…

    …failed

  32. Hes stuck cause if he pulls significant forces from front line they will get peppered by drones and strikes, front will collapse (good)

  33. the master strategist orders his alcoholic zombies with a day of training to do something with it’s last steam tanks. from 3 days operation accoring to plan to this…To moscow! I guess ..china *wink

  34. Russia was supposed to have the #2 armed forces in the world. They have been proven to be a joke. Yes they have nukes, but any conventional war between Russia and the west would be a rout.

  35. Doesn’t feel so good when the shoes on the other foot, does it

  36. Gee, did he not realize that bombing civilians will not cause your opponent to give up? Did not work for hitler, why did you think it would work for you?

  37. I mean…they’ve been trying. Either getting destroyed by a drone or surrendering as soon as possible. God russia is such a joke.

  38. Didn’t they want reunification? They’re wasting their opportunity.

I wonder if Ukraine will be able to recruit any of these troops.

  39. >”One of the obvious goals of the enemy is to sow discord, strife, intimidate people, destroy the unity and cohesion of Russian society,” Putin told a televised meeting with government officials.

What “enemy” would that be? We’re not at war are we Mr. President?

  40. Yes, Putin. Tell your minions to attack because that is all you can think. Throw your cannon fodder soldiers to their doom. Send your planes with bombs to be shot down.
