This US-provided Stryker was hit by a Russian RPG in Kursk region. The driver suffered a concussion but everyone survived, thanks to a thick layer of armor. Ukrainian troops were using parts to patch up others and the rest of it will be sent back to Germany for repairs.

That is what armor is for!
Although I believe the US can always do better when it comes to funding and procurement, it certainly warms my heart knowing my taxes are being put to good use seeing these weapons take their lickings and keep on ticking and/or give the Russian military a miserable time.
It warms my heart to see these platforms finally released into their native habitat to prey on Russians like nature intended.
Wondering how shocked russians were to see armor do its job and the Stryker drive off after an RPG hit.
American soldiers thought the Stryker was crap because Americans think an armored vehicle is a death trap unless it is literally invincible.
Ukrainians however, have lots of experience now on both Russian and western vehicles….shocker, they prefer the western vehicles!
Can we please stop using twitter!? Its completely antithetical to this sub.
Thats probably the least effective spot to aim at for an armored vehicle. Right on the angled front armor.
