Hero tackles knifeman ‘stabbing girl in face’ as tourists watch in horror

1. Someone with a Muslim name saved two women and potentially more, will the far-right now go to their local mosque and thank them for their bravery?

2. That’s 2 seemingly unconnected men stabbing little girls in 2 weeks. What is happening? What is making people do this?

   As far as I can recall little children aren’t typically the victims of this type of crime, what changed?

   No need to put a van on fire or steal booze to be a hero; do something that’s actually good and worth of praise.

4. At this stage it shouldn’t even be about race or colour or ethnicity….    A guy in Southport did the same.

   Usually when there’s acts of terrorism and stabbings you do get members of the public to intervene. Very brave people, of different backgrounds.

10. I’d just ask who stabbed them?

    Weird that we already have everyone else involved apart from the person committing the crime. (But took their time to release it)

    The problem is that, when the Southport riots kicked off, it was by the government that the knowledge of who did it basically sparked the issues that were seen earlier this month.

    Who did it? What was their sentence? and how does it line up against other crimes of white British that were sentenced under the same law?

    If this was from someone local, throw the book. If this was from someone who’s a national from a different country, throw the book. Assuming that can be done, you can pretty much remove the right wing argument.

    But this conversation should not revolve around the race of the people involved.

    Yet again, another knife crime in a crowded place, another family affected terribly.

    The conversation should include our sympathies for the victims, but also, we need to have a long, hard look at the knife crime epidemic, what is causing it, and what the solutions are.

15. I have stopped commenting on this kind of news… some pages are right, some or left wing… and I might accidentally say something I shouldn’t have.

16. I think a similar situation happened in Ireland recently. Well done to this man. Could have been much worse.

17. I hope the mum and child are ok. The horror of being attacked like that is just beyond imagination. They must be going through hell. Also the bravery of jumping in and tackling someone who is willing to attack a little girl in broad daylight cannot be understated. He’s an absolute hero. I can’t imagine how removed from reality you’d have to be to stab a child. That’s so far gone. It would be like trying to stop a wild animal. Abdullah is the best of us. 

18. Someone shared the story to me probably thinking this was the attacker, well again should wait for the information first before trying to jump on it to fuel your agenda.
