Putin vows “worthy response” to Ukraine’s invasion of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday (August 12) that Ukraine was trying to undermine Russian stability with its incursion into the south of the country, but it would not succeed.

“The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces are increasing dramatically for them, including among the most combat-ready units, units that the enemy is transferring to our border,” Putin told a televised meeting with top security officials and regional governors.

  9. Lavrov is on record as saying peace negotiations must begin with Ukraine recognising the 'realities on the ground'. Well I guess now Russia could be asked to do the same.

    Once Georgia turns back against Russia (like Ukraine, like the baltics, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, like Poland, Germany, and Finland did) it will weaken Russia.

    Like Kazakhstan did (remember when Kazakhstan seized control of the Cosmodrome on March 7 2023)?

    Like Armenia did (remember when Armenia quit the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on June 12 2024)?

    Who are Russian allies?

    North Korea? China and North Korea are allies. Similar to how Belarus and Russia are.

    Once China invades Outer Manchuria (they have already stated renaming cities) Russia will weaken. And North Korea will side with China not Russia.

    How can Russia give money to Belarus, Venezuela, and Cuba if China invades in the East, and Ukraine invades in the West…Russia is heavily sanctioned how can they pay for their allies with no money left?

    Russia is at risk of being invaded by China.

    China has already begun rewriting maps, and renaming cities.

    The eight cities changed are Boli for Khabarovsk, Hailanpao for Blagoveshchensk, Haishenwai (Haishenwei) for Vladivostok, Kuye for Sakhalin, Miaojie for Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, Nibuchu for Nerchinsk, Outer Khingan (Outer Xing'an) for Stanovoy Range, and Shuangchengzi for Ussuriysk.

    Russia cannot defeat a Chinese invasion. Especially since Russia is overstretched the frontlines in the Western front. Once China invades Russia will cease to exist.

    UK, France, Israel, USA, China all have nukes.

    Russia can't nuke UK, France, US, Israel and China all at once….

    The invasion of Belgorod and Kursk has started. Russia will have to nuke it's own soil to stop the invasion. After they irradiate their own soil, the radiation cloud will travel East (due to prevailing winds traveling West to East…).

    East of Ukraine is Moscow. If Russia nukes Kursk/Belgorod to stop the invasion, then the radioactive fallout will travel over Moscow….

    Once China begins the invasion in the East, and Japan retakes the Kuril Islands, and USA puts 5 aircraft carriers in the Pacific/off the coast of Vladivostok…how can Russia win?

    I do not understand how mathematically Russia can win. They are impoverished. They are sanctioned. Russia cannot get high end semiconductors from Taiwan, Korea, or USA. Once China invades, Russia will no longer have access to modern day technology.

    Russia has aging cold war nukes. One aircraft carrier that needs to be towed around with a tug boat (Admiral Kuznetsov). The SU-57 fighter jets are a disaster and cannot compete with Western technology (or Chinese technology).

    The population demographics do not favor Russia in the future.

    Especially after losing 330,000 Russian men as of July 2024.

    How will Russia win the war once China invades Outer Manchuria and takes back their land?

    How will Russia push Ukraine out of Russia, without using nukes on the Russian people?

    And once Japan invades the Kuril Islands and retakes their territory.

He invades Ukraine with thousands dead and injured, reducing the invaded territory to rubble and then accuses Ukraine of terrorism invading Russia and displacing and killing innocent Russian civilians. Unbelievable. I just can't wrap my head around his logic it's so twisted.

    The wall fell in 91. Steps to keep prejudice out of Russia has been established. Small society change. In fact a lot of info has hit Russia and they don’t preach prejudice. Zelenskyy just isn’t the leader for Ukraine. We all see it too. NATO foreigners 👁️ in your business that bring prejudice. Really eye opening on how important good leadership is in The Anxiety Age!
    Rocky VI changed societies prejudices as well.
