    I work in post production and the aliens restoration looks genuinely bad. Like really really bad digital denoising that looks like a tik tok filter. It was shot on super 35 and has a ton of grain. Leave it alone and do some minor clean up but Abby Road Studios just did a dreadful job on this one, James.

    The amount of Redditors that don’t understand that Reddit isn’t real life is staggering. It’s going to be hilarious when this whole cycle repeats with the next Avatar and the same people are like “it’s totally going to bomb. I don’t know anyone who likes Avatar” – that’s because you don’t leave your house Dwight. I don’t even like the movies that much but these comments literally don’t mean anything. People like the movies by every metric they’re a success just accept they’re not for you.

  31. Isn’t the biggest issue with some of these 4K remasters that they’re using spotty AI? Where faces and other details are getting seriously messed up?

    Also, Mr. Cameron, I sleep in a nice bed with my super awesome wife. And it’s not in a basement. She loves your movies as much as I do. Please be a little kinder to your fans.
