8. Honestly, Ukraine has proven to be always acting in good faith. They deserve to use their own discretion with all the weapons.

9. My theory is Russia needs those core airfields to maintain their nuclear capabilities, alot of nuclear weapons could potentially be dropped from planes sitting on those airfields. If the United States was viewed as attacking these assets it would be seen as an act of war and Russia would have justification to escalate. To them attacking their ability to drop nuclear weapons is like attacking nuclear infrastructure.
