4. The Blackbelt Barrister has already covered this. Extradition only works when the person in question has broke a law that is applied in both jurisdictions. The USA has *actual* freedom of speech, so no laws have been broken. That’s like trying to extradite an American for possessing a firearm.

   What would interest me is if the UK government was to take action with Twitter as a platform.

   He is in a unique position at the head of the platform and appears to be using it as a political tool to invite problems domestically and internationally.

7. While he may not get arrested, the UK can certainly issue a warrant regardless. Musk would be barred from visiting the UK which seems like a result.

15. He doesn’t seem to have committed a crime. He didn’t tell people to go out and commit violent acts, he didn’t condone violence, he just said that it was inevitable.

    If someone says that “war between China and Taiwan is inevitable”, does that mean they are condoning war? Of course not.

    I know people don’t like Musk but to be arrested he has to have committed a crime first.

17. No one is saying Musk, or anyone else for that matter, is not allowed to hold whatever opinion they want. However, when you hold hateful opinions and go further than merely holding them by broadcasting them to others you risk stirring up hatred and violence towards all sorts of marginalized folks. That is not acceptable and needs to be dealt with to the full extent of the law.
