Can lettuce, beets, and broccoli survive in saltwater? The article doesn’t address this but other [sources](https://www.ars.usda.gov/arsuserfiles/20360500/pdf_pubs/P1567.pdf) say these vegetables are only tolerant of low to moderate levels of salts.
