  1. Negotiating when one side’s stated goal is the complete and utter eradication of the other side posses some real challenges.

  2. Besides, they know that their former brokers are in a jam, and that they overplayed their hand since October leading a public shake down for money and political capital. But what Hamas is gonna discover is that they too are expendable. And the Middle East will go on without them, and cash checks as a result.

  6. Iirc Iran was holding off attacking Israel until these talks occurred so it’s likely it’s just Hamas baiting their paymasters into attacking Israel.

  7. Gee, it’s almost like assassinating their chief negotiator has soured them on even considering peace.

  8. A terrorist organization doesn’t really want peace, they want death and destruction. The only time they would take these deals is to give them time to rebuild and commit more terror attacks.
