Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin North West, Paul McAuliffe, has called for the promised Citizen’s Assembly on Drugs to be established.
The Dublin North West TD says that The drugs industry is far more harmful than the illegal substances they peddle. He says that establishing a Citizen’s Assembly and examining the current laws on illegal substances would be an important step forward.”
The last thing said about the assembly was that the date would be announced “in the coming weeks”. That was last week

Free da drugz.
No they didn’t they ignored a woman that walked from her house in cork to the dail for medical cannabis for her sick daughter.
They didn’t even meet her at the gate !
A TD walked all the way and pushed her in a wheelchair up the Naas road.
To be greeted by arrogance by the Leader of Fine Gael.
Fact.
Spewing bullshit to the media means nothing.
FF have failed many times to do anything about the drug problem other than doubling down on the designed to fail prohibition laws.
They are now a charity but the pathetic anti-journalism media is still taking them seriously.
