I did just go back to see what Pep said before the Community Shield about who we might bring in, and he said a winger who can play forward, or an attacking midfielder who can play forward were two of the options. By “forward” I guess he meant center forward (eg when Haaland is out). Still don’t see this Diaz rumor being true but that was interesting. Pep did say that price was important and I’m not sure 70M is a huge bargain.
The fact we just signed savings and have multiple option in that position tell me this is bull shit
