  1. put a non military guy into a difficult military situation

this going to work out well

  2. There is a great saying of universal application. Never stop your opponent when he is making a mistake.

  3. ”Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” Napoleon Bonaparte

  4. His next great strategic move will be to have his shoe-shiner become Foreign Affairs Minister

  5. Sounds like he’s putting someone he isn’t worried about pulling a coup in charge of the military forces in kursk

  6. Ohh, that worked out so well last time. 😱😏🤫🤪😁😂😬🥰😘🤣😂😅🤣😂😅🤣😂😅🤣😂😅🤣😂😅😆😁😄🤣

  7. I bet we will see a lot of heroic charges with colonels and generals at the vanguard. Full Stalin punishment style

  8. Like in all dictatorship countries, it’s not your experience or performance that matters, but how good you are at kissing ass. I suppose it’s positive news for Ukraine. 😄

  9. He put another one in charge of Rosgvardia. The blood goblin is retreating into his shell. The fact that multiple army brass are either in jail or under investigation, this is, in a way, great news.

  10. The last time we saw something this fucking stupid, another dictator put his architect in charge of the war economy.

  11. Konstantin from Russia had a lot to say about this. Implied that Putin has made a big mistake and effectively handed this guy the keys to the camper.

  12. Whats next, he’s gonna apoint his pet bear as secretary general?

  13. Nepotism at its finest! Hopefully he will make disastrous decisions

  14. No fucking way, this is actually happening? Bunker ~~suicide~~ self-edit inbound

  15. A reporter on national Television introduced him as „secret weapon of Putin“.

  16. At this point Putin is just throwing the person in front of him before the bus hits. He is going to run out before it’s Grandma Ivanka left.

  17. You have to look at it from the perspective of protection for Putin. If you are a bodyguard now, there is a greater chance than zero that in the future you might get promoted all the way to real power.

So if you are a bodyguard and really close to Putin, then you will be more loyal and more looking for ways to show your loyalty, all because there is a chance to get promoted. But because not everyone can be promoted, you will want to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack and the only way to do so is to show your loyalty in comparison to the other people around the dictator. If anyone even hints or jokes or comes across as anti Putin in any way, it makes sense to turn them in. So if you are the ones that are in real power and could theoretically have a coup, it becomes really hard to get to Putin because of the zealousness of the current bodyguards.

This is Putin creating a stronger firewall around himself.
